Julian Covarr, MRCVS, a well-respected and experienced veterinary clinician decided to bring his skills into the local community to provide excellent first opinion care, and so founded Cuffley Hill Veterinary Centre in 1998. The practice has become the centre of skilled, caring and compassionate veterinary care in the locality, and continues to develop both general care and more specialised interests.
Our philosophy is to strive to provide excellent first opinion care for all our patients and, when necessary, to seek specialist care at Centres of Excellence such as the RVC Queen Mother Hospital at Potters Bar, or Cambridge University Veterinary Hospital, so that our patients receive the very best of care at all levels.
We aim to provide a good value, high quality service without taking short cuts, which could compromise patient care; we will always do our best to give
you an estimate, on request, of anticipated costs before treatment. We believe in charging fairly for all treatments and procedures, rather than using ‘loss leaders’ which must inevitably be followed by much higher costs for other work. All our charges are based on the cost of providing a particular treatment or service.
Payment is expected in full at the time of treatment. We accept cash, cheques supported by a bank guarantee card, credit and debit cards. Payment at the time of treatment also applies when your pet is insured, and we will do our best to process insurance claims promptly so that you are reimbursed as soon as possible.
